This was last year’s big snow and when we had more staff. It took about 2 months for this snow pile to melt from the parking lot!

About

8 Arms Community Bakery was created in September 2007 by Jen Ownbey in Olympia, Washington. We started in a 200 square foot converted garage and over the years outgrew it and moved in April of 2015 to a nearly 2000 square foot warehouse space.  Our recipes are all created in house using only the best ingredients, about 70% organic. Our artisan baked goods are unique and we have a wide selection of products we've created over the years. 8 Arms Bakery is the south sound's only community supported bakery with our Bakery Share Program.  We also have a booming wholesale program and weekly Open Bakery for purchasing treats directly from us.  Check out a bit about all our great staff below:

Jen created 8 Arms Bakery back in 2007 in attempt to escape the life of a classroom teacher. She took her love of baking and creative talents and started 8 Arms Bakery.  Her favorite thing about baking is creating new recipes and seeing how customers enjoy the results. In her spare time (what little there is when you own your own business!) she enjoys backpacking, gardening, reading and rock hounding.  Try out her favorite 8 Arms goodies: Double chocolate mint delight bar and sourdough bread.
