8 Arms Community Bakery was created in September 2007 by Jen Ownbey in Olympia, Washington. We started in a 200 square foot converted garage and over the years outgrew it and moved in April of 2015 to a nearly 2000 square foot warehouse space.  Our recipes are all created in house using only the best ingredients, about 70% organic. Our artisan baked goods are unique and we have a wide selection of products we've created over the years. 8 Arms Bakery is the south sound's only community supported bakery with our Bakery Share Program.  We also have a booming wholesale program and weekly Open Bakery for purchasing treats directly from us.  Check out a bit about all our great staff below:

The whole 8 ARms Gang!

Brady is originally from Pasco, WA.  He graduated from The Evergreen State College recently and joined the team at 8 Arms as our manager shortly after.  In his spare time he likes to play soccer (in fact he's played for over 20 years!).  He also enjoys the outdoors, camping and hiking.  He's always been fascinated about the kitchen and his favorite foods are Hispanic ones.  He enjoys baking the bars at 8 Arms the most (playfully known as the "Bar Master"!) and the sweet breads, especially the Cranberry Orange, his favorite!

Wyatt is currently attending Tumwater High School and has lived in the area all his life. When he's not at school or the bakery he loves watching and playing sports, especially football and baseball. He also lies camping, hiking and adventuring. He's always loved all kinds of food, especially sweets. His favorite thing to make at the bakery are the meat pies because they look as good as they taste..

Jen created 8 Arms Bakery back in 2007 in attempt to escape the life of a classroom teacher. She took her love of baking and creative talents and started 8 Arms Bakery.  Her favorite thing about baking is creating new recipes and seeing how customers enjoy the results. In her spare time (what little there is when you own your own business!) she enjoys backpacking, gardening, reading and rock hounding.  Try out her favorite 8 Arms goodies: Double chocolate mint delight bar and sourdough bread.

My name is Robby. I’ve been working at the bakery since the beginning of 2019. In my free time, I like to write and perform music. I play the guitar, drums, piano, flute and saxophone. One thing I like to bake is the blueberry crumble muffins.
